The Horse and his Boy
The story that I am the least familiar with. But, still, I love it. I love how C.S. Lewis gets you thinking about the change from being a poor mans son that is treated as a slave, to the King. It also gives you some insight on what happened while the Pevensies were in Narnia as Kings and Queens.
Re: The Horse and his Boy
One of my favorite things about this book is how Aslan was in everything; he pushed the boat to shore, he was the cat that comforted Shasta, he was the lion that urged them on. He was always there, just like God. I also appreciate the fact that Shasta and Aravis are two very different characters from all the others we meet in Narnai, giving some great variety.
